145.JPG - After dinner there were additional recognitions for contributions to the KIF “Eliminate Maternal/Neonatal Tetanus” program continued to come in during the convention. Since the announcement in Geneva, Switzerland, at the Kiwanis International Convention, through the close of our DCON, forty five Capital District Kiwanians and friends have earned Walter Zeller Charter Membership status. The results from just this brief period have raised over $56,250 just from the Capital District. These immunizations are otherwise unavailable if not supplied through Kiwanis and the United Nations (UNICEF). Past Governor Bob Cressy is presented his Walter Zeller Award by KI Trustee Jane Erickson.
