Why Should Your Club Charter a New Builders Club: Reason #3

Our Key Club could be stronger with a little investment, and that investment is Builders Club

by Jennifer Dugent

In professional sports, there are farm teams where young athletes with potential are trained so that they will eventually make it to the big leagues. The same goes for Builders Club. Builders Club members are our future Key Clubbers, who in turn would be future CKIers and Kiwanians. They are Key Club’s farm team. We should nurture these students and give them opportunities to fall in love with the Kiwanis Family, and once that happens they will join Key Club.

Kiwanis Clubs sometimes worry about their Key Clubs that have low attendance or weak leadership. With a strong Builders Club to draw from, Key Clubs can always count on a new team of freshman to join and thrive. Chartering a Builders Club in your community means investing in your Key Club. Contact Builders Club Administrator Jen Dugent to learn how your club can get your very own Builders Club.
