Virginia Beach Kiwanis Club and Key Clubs in the Holiday Spirit

by Michael Bradley

On Saturday morning, November 19, Virginia Beach Kiwanis Club members plus Key Club members from Cox High School, First Colonial High School, Cape Henry Collegiate, and Landstown High School, all of Virginia Beach, shopped and delivered food to six needy families to ensure they had a Happy Thanksgiving. In the afternoon, Club members and Key Clubbers from the same four schools prepared the meals and served the homeless at the Judeo Christian Outreach Center in Virginia Beach.

In the picture below are shoppers from left to right, Mary Thrush and Mike Bradley of the Virginia Beach Club and Kimberly Lintag (Landstown Key Club President), Karen Forosan (Vice-President) and Julieanne Tangalin.

In the picture above Jim Braswell of the Virginia Beach Club is shown with Cape Henry Collegiate shoppers Regan Haegley (Key Club President) and Bryce Becker (Treasurer).

Last but not least Jan Bradley and Abbey Cutchin (Cox HS Key Club Vice-President) are shown shopping for a needy family.
