by Dave Wilson

US Senator Coons, a Wilmington Kiwanian, rings the Salvation Army bell! Us Senator Coons is seen flanked by (L - R) Wilmington's Past President Dave Wilson and President John Sheridan as they ring the bell in the rain for The Salvation Army kettle in downtown Wilmington, DE! Kiwanians manned the Bells from 9:00am to 4:00pm. It is said that Senator Coons, a Kiwanian for 4 years now, "lobbied" many attorneys and judges to add to "The Salvation Army Kettle".... And, how often do we see a US Senator standing in the rain helping out a charity? Well, he's a true Kiwanian!
