Crofton Kiwanis/REMAX Team Surlis 10K Challenge - June 13

The Crofton MD Kiwanis Club and Foundation together with REMAX Real Estate Team Surlis continue their fundraising efforts with the 21st annual 10K Race on June 13 through the beautiful neighborhoods of Crofton.  Local Crofton and Anne Arundel County charities have been the recipients of over $44,000 in contributions since the event's inception. 

The race is always run on the Saturday in June which is a week before Father's Day.  The race includes some gentle hills but is mostly on flat terrain.  Multiple water stations are provided along the course along with police escort, and on-site EMT unit.  The race is timed and monitored by the Annapolis Striders Running Club and the results are posted within 48 hours.

Race amenities include three trophies in several age categories in addition to the overall winner categories.  T-shirts to the first 250 entrants.  Food treats following the race include fruit and Chic-fil-a nuggets and virgin bloody marys.  Register online at Active.com or CroftonKiwanis.org.   The event should provide a fun morning!
