My Key Leader Experience
by Marci Hameroff

My experience at KEY Leader in 2008 will last a lifetime! It was a chance for me to come out of my shell and open up to people I would have otherwise never met. Though sometimes the seminars made some of us a tad sleepy, everything said was very beneficial and has helped me in my role as Key Club President this year. At KEY Leader I learned how to walk the very fine middle line between too overbearing and too lacksidasical. I would encourage as many kids in high school, whether or not a member of Key Club, to take advantage of attending this program - each one will learn something that they can carry forward as they assume leadership roles throughout their lives. It is an excellent program and I am grateful that I was able to attend. Pictured during a Key Leader activity is Marci, second from the right.
