Q. When is the Capital District holds its annual convention in August of each year?
A. The District mid winters are held in the regions, between January and March.

The Capital District is Governed by a 8 regional Trustees, elected for a 3 year term. Each of the 8 regions has a representative.

Q. Are donations made to a Kiwanis Club Tax deductable?
A. No, donations made to a club fund raiser are not tax deductable, but donations made to a club foundation that is a 501c3 organization are tax deductable.

Each club in good standing may have 2 delegates seated at the international convention House of Delegates. Each club may also have 2 alternate delegates.
