Haysi Kiwanis Club 60 Celebrates Years of Service

Seventy Five members and guests gathered at the Haysi Kiwanis Club House on October 1st to recognize present and past members and officers on 60 years of service to the Haysi community. Honored guests in the audience included Past Governors of the Capital District, Warren Kane and Yvonne Holley. Both Governors recognized the club for the contributions it has made throughout the sixty years of existence. David Yates presented a brief history of the Haysi Kiwanis Club and recognized all past presidents for their service to the club and the community. Everyone enjoyed the traditional meal of chicken and dumplings and all the trimmings that go with it.
