Capital CKI's Kiwanis Career Contacts Program

by Capital CKI Governor Brian Cofrancesco and Kiwanis Family Relations Chair Christina Horton.

Kiwanis Career Contacts, or KC2, is a Capital District CKI initiative designed to help CKI members find jobs, internships, and advice about their career field by connecting them with Kiwanians with similar professions and career paths.  Kiwanians who submit their professional, career, and contact information are entered into a database at www.cdcki.org which CKI members can search to find someone that fits their career interests. Once a match is found, they can request the contact information for specific Kiwanians.

This program is still starting up and Capital CKI could use YOUR help in developing KC2 into a successful and useful tool!  At your next Kiwanis meeting, or in your club newsletter/email, we encourage you to mention the program and ask members to participate and enter their information into the database online. No contact information will be listed online, and will only be distributed to dues-paid CKI members who request it.

The database can be accessed by visiting www.cdcki.org and clicking on the "Kiwanis Career Contacts" link under the "Resources" tab.  At the bottom of the page is a button that says "Kiwanis Career Contact Form" which will take you to the submission page to enter your information.

Please help us promote this program by submitting your information and informing your fellow Kiwanis members about this great initiative. Kiwanians are great resources to CKI members and we hope that this program will both improve Kiwanis Family relations and help our dedicated members grow as they pursue an education and begin their careers!

If you have any questions you can contact CKI Kiwanis Family Relations Chair Christina Horton at k-family@cdcki.org.
